Nom

More WIPS. After that week full of nonstop Harry Potter absorption I sorta lost my desire to draw much Dx Hopefully it comes back. This is just some stuff I have been working on but took a break from.

The first image is like my third attempt at bookmark things for as many Naruto characters as I could do (planning a total of 51 atm @_@ Got 22 done) but as soon as I take a short break from them and then come back they start to look uglier and uglier and so I just stop doing them... >:| I definitely have to go back and fix most of 'em all over again-- so many that it would be more efficient to make a list of ones that are ok Dx;; But I will persist~

This is "The Harvester", an unoriginal and weird interpretation of autumn. I'm planning on doing all four seasons (since Autumn is holding on to a ribbon belonging to Spring) but who knows. Not much ever comes from me putting up WIPs though :< I end up trashing most things I put here before I finish.

The last are more developed sprites. Hopefully that's not the finished version of a main character because he looks so... meh xP But the importance of it is that I finally have a base to work off of for others. I'm not too sure how I feel about doing pixel art :/ I either have fun doing it or get too frustrated or bored being limited so few pixels.

Gwar

One day I swear I will actually finish/change the layout style and images Dx Blah.

Well yesterday I got back from A-kon 19 which was tons of fun, though it seemed like it was lacking a little when compared to the prior year :/ It sort of felt like I wasn't as much of a part of the con as last year, but it's hard to tell what it really was that was different. I also didn't really get all that much this time around except some cute pins, some pokemon figurines that weren't Arcanines or Growliths >:< , a squid (from Mario Sunshine) keychain thing, and an Akatsuki cloud T-shirt (finally found one >:O). I'm not that disappointed with what I got except the fact that I brought far too little money ;__; Oh well. Also, my poor Tobi mask kept falling apart at the Velcro and so that wasn't all that pleasant to wear;; At least a lot of the art I saw in the artist alley was inspiring~ Oh how I wish I could be as good as people like that already..

On another note, my dad and I have been brainstorming a game we could make together. For the past few months now we had been trying very unsuccessfully to think up a product we could sell online that would be useful to others or some sort of service that would attract visitors in order to make money in a different way than just work. It's likely that we'll be going further with the idea and so I'll have stuff to keep me busy with all summer. So far we've decided that it would be a pixel-y tiled game thing (like RO or Pokemon) but I have no idea about the actual story, setting, or purpose yet xD I was playing around a little with character design and made my first moving sprites ever :O It was amusing to do, especially trying to get them to look like they weren't dancing in place or jumping..;;

It's a start I guess.

And I have no idea what I'm doing with this thing Dx I had an idea at first but since the legs didn't really work out and I cropped the image to hide them it just looks... odd now. Here's a WIP anyway:

The face on the side is just a shot of the image at full size. I bet the picture is super bright and colorful and full of weirdness, but it looks normal on my laptop :< Everything is just a lot paler and more pastel when I draw on it and I can't see how it really looks until I upload it somewhere and switch computers.
